Orlando

Orlando without Disney...a little cheaper, a lot more congested, and still a lot of fun! We spent the kids' spring break exploring the Orlando area. SeaWorld was by far the girls' favorite. They loved the shows and all of the sea animals. Shamu's Happy Harbor had lots of neat kiddie rides; Shamu Express (rollercoaster) was the best. The killer whale show is more impressive than ever, though we didn't get the least bit wet even when sitting in the "Splash Zone." We spent a day at Busch Gardens. They, too, had cute kiddie rides, and some fun big ones. Haley and mom even rode a couple of rollercoasters. It was interesting to see the animals in the safari area. Cocoa Beach was another fun day trip. A bit windy, but still a good day for digging and playing in the surf. We said we were not going to Disney...does Downtown Disney count? The kids enjoyed playing at the Lego store there. And, of course, there was the hotel pool. The kids went swimming almost every night!

Love this smile...

I just love a wiggly-tooth smile....

...almost as much as a gapped-toothed one!

Our budding scientist

After winning a 3rd place ribbon at the school science fair, Haley was able to go to the regional competition. She enjoyed presenting her project board, but the most fun was growing her crystals and seeing them change over time.

Teddy's Visit

After much anticipation, Teddy finally come home with Jenna for the weekend! They had fun playing together and writing in Teddy's journal so they could share their adventures with their Kindergarten classmates when they get back to school.
