Juliana's here!

Yeah! Juliana came to visit...her first trip to our house ever! The girls had a great time showing her around. She even got to be Jenna's show and tell at school! They all had a blast going to the beach, swimming at the club, getting fed at the Shed, fishing down at the pier, and just being together! We are so glad she and her dad joined Grandma and Pop-Pop in visting us and celebrating Haley's First Holy Communion with us. We can't wait to see them all again, along with K, H, and T, this summer.

Jesus, You are Bread for Us

Jesus, you are bread for us. Jesus, you are life for us...
In your gift of Eucharist we find love.

We are so proud of Haley; she made her First Holy Communion. What a big step to growing up in the Church! We were especially happy to share the day with so many family members. Having grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins at church and at our celebration afterwards made the day all that more special.

Ladybugs! Ladybugs!

Five Little Ladybugs
Five little ladybugs climbing on some plants,
Eating the aphids, but not the ants.
The first one said, "Save some aphids for me."
The second one said, "They're as tasty as can be."
The third one said, "Oh, they're almost gone."
The forth one said, "Then we'd better move on."
The fifth one said, "Come on, let's fly!"
So they opened up their wings and they flew through the sky.

Orlando

Orlando without Disney...a little cheaper, a lot more congested, and still a lot of fun! We spent the kids' spring break exploring the Orlando area. SeaWorld was by far the girls' favorite. They loved the shows and all of the sea animals. Shamu's Happy Harbor had lots of neat kiddie rides; Shamu Express (rollercoaster) was the best. The killer whale show is more impressive than ever, though we didn't get the least bit wet even when sitting in the "Splash Zone." We spent a day at Busch Gardens. They, too, had cute kiddie rides, and some fun big ones. Haley and mom even rode a couple of rollercoasters. It was interesting to see the animals in the safari area. Cocoa Beach was another fun day trip. A bit windy, but still a good day for digging and playing in the surf. We said we were not going to Disney...does Downtown Disney count? The kids enjoyed playing at the Lego store there. And, of course, there was the hotel pool. The kids went swimming almost every night!
