What a great Mardi Gras season! Gorgeous weather, good friends, and lots of throws! We went to 4 parades in all. O.S. had both a day and a night parade. The kids walked in the Children's Parade as Queen Susan and Queen Lucy of Narnia. Aslan road in the wagon with the throws. Of course, the biggest parade of all was on Fat Tuesday...the casinos and big krewes really know how to throw a party! Best throws of the season? Flowers, stuffed animals, glow-in-the-dark beads, a backpack, a tumbler from a casino, and of course, really big, fancy beads!

more holiday fun...
With Christmas right around the corner, there have been lots of fun holiday things to do. From the town tree lighting, to Christmas on the water, to hanging lights on the house, we have been busy little elves!

We girls enjoyed our afternoon at the Junior Auxilary Holly Day Tea.

Haley and Jenna did a fabulous job decorating this gingerbread house.

The Kindergarten had a gingerbread-building party, too. Yum! Few could resist licking their fingers or nibbling on a candy or two!
