Look who is six!

Jenna had a fun birthday. She brought cupcakes to school to share with her classmates. Dinner was her choice...a night out at Applebee's. And with a party planned for the next night, turning six was a very exciting!

Jenna wanted a flower-themed party, can't you tell? She also wanted to have her party at the park, but with a rainy forcast, we switched it to the house instead.

Birthdays are always reason to celebrate! The girls surprised Henry with some new toys...his own Webkinz and a guitar book/DVD. Guess they know what their daddy likes to do for fun!

"I just can't wait!"

The kids have been saying this a lot, especially since meeting their teachers two days ago. They are very excited about the new school year! They popped right out of bed this morning and got ready in record time...even had a few minutes to spare for this First Day of School photo!

...this is where we were all summer, whenever we had nothing else going on. I am going to miss those fun days in the pool with my two girls. Luckily, summer weather will be around for a while, so we'll still have our weekend swims to look forward to!
